Clover Legends Combat: Combos, Dodges and Recovery

Clover Legends combat uses real-time combos, dodges and ultimates. These guides help you give an opening, follow-up and escape a clear purpose with the attacks available in your loadout. Begin with a short sequence you can repeat, then compare why an attempt connects or fails before adding more inputs.

A useful combo has a reason for every commitment

Start from an attack that connects reliably against the enemy in front of you. Add a follow-up only when it reaches the next position or creates a useful result, and keep room to respond after the commitment. Clover Legends confirms combos, dodges and ultimates as combat features; it does not establish a single universal input string for every book and control scheme.

The combat overview explains that practice loop, the combo guide works through connections, and the combo-list article organizes sequence patterns by purpose. Dodging has a separate guide because escaping an attack is a different task from increasing damage during an opening. When a sequence fails, keep the enemy and opening stable while testing the weak connection. That makes the result easier to interpret than changing your entire loadout after every attempt.

Combat practice questions

Is a longer combo always the better choice?

A sequence is useful when its connections and recovery fit the encounter. Additional attacks can create another failed transition or leave less room to respond.

Why not copy a single input string for every book?

Different available attacks change the connection you are testing. Use your live loadout and control display rather than assuming one string covers every situation.

Fix one connection before adding another

Choose a repeatable encounter and test the transition that fails. Keep a recovery option while you decide whether the follow-up earns its place.
