Clover Legends Fire Guide: Attacks and Book Milestones

Reviewed 2026-09-16Unofficial player article

Practice the opening attack, inspect Salamander's Roar at the milestone, and scale encounters after the available moves work reliably.

Fire is one of the starting grimoires in Clover Legends. Build a reliable opening attack with it, then reassess the book when more spells become available. Book Level 10 and 20 are important checkpoints; another spin is not required to open those spells.

Learn Fire through a controlled fight

Use an encounter you can repeat without immediately being overwhelmed. Start with one enemy and pay attention to where your attack lands. If the hit misses, change your position and aim before adding another enemy to the test.

This gameplay recording uses Fire through early encounters and reaches Book Level 10. Watch the difference between the opening attack and the move the player tries after that milestone.

Fire combat and the Level 10 spellWatch Fire in early encounters and inspect how the next available move changes the fight.

Inspect Salamander's Roar at the milestone

The recording shows Salamander's Roar becoming the player's next move at Book Level 10. Check your Fire spell panel at that level, then test the unlocked move in a manageable fight. Observe its reach and how safely you can finish the action before copying the recording's larger enemy pulls.

Do not judge the entire book from the starting attack alone. Equally, do not assume that obtaining another move makes every encounter safe. The useful question is what that move adds to the fights you are actually trying to finish.

Scale the encounter after the attack works

Increase the difficulty only after you can land the available moves consistently. If a group overwhelms you, return to a smaller encounter and identify whether the opening missed or whether you stayed exposed while attacking. A successful group clear in a recording is a demonstration, not a promise about your health, level or positioning.

The starting-session guide helps keep this practice tied to progress. Use the book roster if you later want to compare Fire with another magic style.

Must Fire be replaced to gain another spell?

No. The game's book progression opens additional spells at Level 10 and 20 inside the equipped grimoire. Inspect those unlocks before treating a replacement as your only next step.
